We spoke briefly with Patterns the other night about their history as a band, best and worst shows, and what it's like to be a diamond in a turd. They don't have a record out yet (we're crossing our fingers for a spring release) but they were kind enough to give us a quick update. Enjoy the natural backyard setting of the interview, complete with simulated traffic.

We work with Portland youth to train in music business skills. Booking, promotion, production, management, marketing, we cover it. With this momentum, we strive to aid in the creative proliferation of local Portland, and NW regional up-and-coming acts. We are spinning our web as a security net for the local musicians in the area, and we hope to lend a helpful hand when we can.
