Will I be pretty?
2010-10-28 07:04:25 Our society places such importance on physical appearance. For women especially, one of the most powerful criteria on which she's judged is how attractive she is. I reject this absolutely. All people are beautiful. Whether or not they choose to let others see their beauty is another issue altogether, but we all of us are beings of light, beauty and love. Please... watch this. Listen to the truth of what she has to say. It's so very powerful. Panera Cares?
2010-10-27 15:56:42 As a general rule, I'm not a big fans of national chain restaurants. They tend to offer high-fat, high-sodium, high-priced, low quality food, oftentimes 'big boxing' other local businesses out of the picture. Having said that, I find this an interesting development. I think it's terrific that they're putting the focus on mutual responsibility and the social contract, rather than merely 'charity'. I live near the Hollywood neighborhood, and if this project goes through, I'll be sure to stop in periodically. Kudos to Panera for even considering it. |
